Educational Technology and Copyright Law

  • Copyright protects numerous things such as written work, dramatic, musical, and art work.
  • The instant you create something it's already copyrighted.
  • All copyrighted material doesn't need to filled out with paperwork. 
  • If a work is licensed such as a Creative Common license you can either use the image in accordance to the license, or don't use it at all.
  • Fair use allows others to use their work.
  • If an image is not licensed, use it according to the fair use regulations.
